Angela M. Heads, PhD, is a licensed psychologist in the State of Texas. She received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University. Heads training was extensively concentrated on individual, couples and group therapy, multicultural issues and assessment. Her clinical work focuses on the use of psychotherapy to treat a wide variety of issues in adults and adolescents including depression, trauma, anxiety, substance use, issues surrounding grief, bereavement and adjustment issues. Heads is skilled at using both insight oriented therapy and cognitive and behavioral techniques in her work with clients. Heads also is trained in assessment of ADHD, learning disorders, and other mental health issues and makes use of assessment as a diagnostic tool.
