She was actually able to give me a name for my condition. The place I went to previously only gave me medication but didn't give me a name or how to use the medication correctly. Here I left knowing the name of my condition and how to apply it correctly.
Everything was fine, she explained everything in an easy-to-understand way, she's a very kind person and I would recommend her 100%.
Dr. Andrade has always been an amazing physician and my interactions with her at this visit were great as always. I would be remiss if I didn't speak up to an issue I saw at the check-in desk. There was a new patient in front of me that very clearly did not speak or understand English. She needed to present her ID and insurance cards as well as sign the necessary consent forms. The staff member at the check in desk did not make any attempts to get a translator on for the patient. She continued to ask her for "ID and insurance card" as the patient became understandably flustered and embarrassed because she did not know what she was being asked for. She was then asked to "sign here six times" and as a UT employee, I knew that this was for all of the consent forms. Not a single form was explained to this patient. At one point I interjected and asked the front desk staff member, "Do you have a Language Line cart?" and she looked at me and said "No". I know this is not true whatsoever. I also had over a 90 minute wait for my appointment. At no point at check-in, or the 90+ minutes in the exam room was I updated about wait time or Dr. Andrade's status as I know she was not with patients as I strategically scheduled myself for the first appointment in the session to try and alleviate as much delay in being seen as possible to avoid missing any additional work. It was only upon Dr. Andrade coming into the exam room that she stated that she was in surgery, that she had alerted staff to inform patients and give the option of rescheduling or seeing an alternative physician, either option being one I would have done had I been given the choice. I informed Dr. Andrade that at no point was I made aware of this.
Wait time was unfortunate but my experience with Dr. Andrade more than made up for the wait.
It was excellent! Thanks
My appointment was delayed an hour causing me inconvenience. I enjoyed my doctor but her staff could do better. After my visit I was informed I needed to go do my blood testing but it was closed. Now I have to miss another day of work to do this when if done at the time when I was scheduled or waiting for 30 more in the room the test would have been submitted on time. Seemed like I was the last person and they didn't think to help facilitate this for me.
Please don't make me wait so long for future visits. I expected about an hour to be seen by the doctor.
We really like our doctor. DR. Amanda Andrade.
They are very attentive and professional.
My experience was very good and the was always polite and respectful to the patients. I thank you for your time.
After my appointment I felt like I wasn't heard . My doctor made me feel like I was making things up .
I felt very good with all the staff, thank you very much. I hope you always continue like this.
I really enjoyed Dr. Ansata's visit. She was very informative. She was very knowledgeable. Everything she was speaking about about our future procedure together. So I really enjoyed my visit with her. I would recommend her to someone else.
I love Dr. Andrade I've been her patient before she was with UT health. I appreciate that she listens to patients which is why I don't want to complain about the waiting time because it is very rare to find doctors that actually listen and educate. But there has to be a better check in process. If you all know the wait time is 1hr - 1 hour 1/2 (which has been the last two times I've been here) give me the option to check in from home / work. example: Appointment 11:15am, allow me to check in at that time online / text I can then drive to the clinic or in my case (continue to work and not beg for an extended 2 hour lunch) and I'd still arrive 30 min before y'all even call into a room OR simply don't overbook the doctor.
Andrade was very nice and clear.
That was a long wait.
Overall it was a great experience as usual. She is always open and transparent about educating me about my body.
Really excellent and kind!
Everything is fine so far
The facility I visited is terrible. Parking is limited and expensive, it smells like urine all over the parking lot, the hospital & MOB need to be renovated, the waiting room was overcrowded, the wait times for a visit were long and the office in general isn't great. Its time for an upgrade or a new standalone facility!
All my concerns about my health were immediately taken care of and easily was treated with medication that was most needed. I was heard about my problems and was thoroughly examined and given the proper advice and information needed to avoid future issues. One of the most excellent doctor and nurses to take care of me. I fully recommend this establishment and Dr. Amanda Andrade team.
Dr. Andrade did a great job of providing the services that I needed done.
Dr. Andrade was great, she listened to me speak about my previous history and told me what to likely expect regarding my results. I felt very comfortable during my visit and I really appreciate her kindness. She was very knowledgeable as well.
Dr. Andrade was very knowledgeable in her field and was very helpful with providing feedback on my concerns. Dr. Andrade was a great physician and listened really well.
Everything was excellent
It feels great to have found people willing to ensure that my care and services were of the highest quality at all times. I am grateful for having had the opportunity to come here and meet the UTHealth team and Dr. Amanda Andrade.
First time with this provider but she was very nice will return
This was just one of the several visits that I have had to wait over an hour for my appointment time. I schedule as early in the morning as possible, but my provider was still over an hour behind. When I checked in, they said 30 minutes, but after an additional 30 minutes, I asked. I was then taken to a conference room and not an actual room for my fetal check. This is unacceptable patient care and patient safety.
Dr.Amanda was super kind, friendly and knowledgeable
This was my first visit and everyone was very nice and friendly. My doctor was very thorough about what was going to be done and afterwards as well.
