This was my initial visit to UT physicians. I was impressed by most of the staff, especially the lab tech and medical assistant. Overall a very positive experience. Dr Heo was excellent but having good support staff makes everything easier
I revealed very personal information & cried. Dr. Heo patted me on my shoulder. I really appreciate the kind, compassionate & HUMAN gesture. It meant so much. I could tell that he really cared.

I have no complaints about Dr.Heo. However, I think the change in protocols regarding what is included in a physical exam is unfortunate. I have had two physical physical exams since Dr. Garb's retirement and they were similar. I have since learned of the change in standards for a physical exam. It appears to me it is now mostly a question and answer session and then blood work. I assume this is normal across the industry, but it does suggest a lowering of standards of care.
This provider stepped in to help me when I could not get an appointment with my regular PCP as quickly as I needed. Thank you do much.
Doctor Albert Heo did a fine examination. I have not been to the doctor for along time. I could not really say what should be done. I was very pleased with my medical visit. It is I who learned alot.

Exceptional service from the provider and nursing staff. I was not given the same type service from the nursing staff from Dr. Abdelmelek. (Myra) (phone conversation) promised to call me back, but did not) The Dr on yesterday, nurse, lab, staff that checked me in.......all outstanding and professional!
None of us is perfect and I appreciate what UT Physicians has done for me. I really do. Nobody is perfect, but they try and they are good doctors.

Dr. Albert Heo is very nice but one of the biggest problems I have is that when UT Health updated their portal - May 2022? - a whole lot of my medical reports, labs, xrays, ct scans, and MRIs went missing, gone from the portal. Now that Dr. Garb is gone, my new primary doctor, and anyone else I see cannot check my history. Dr. Garb knew my history without having to see it in the portal. Since my history is gone my primary doctor, or anyone else I see acts like if they cannot see it in the portal - then it must not be true. As an example: I went to several rheumatologists at UT for over 4 to 6 years ago - but non of diagnoses is in the online portal anymore. So now my current primary does not have any confidence in what I am telling her the rheumatologist diagnosis 4 years ago. Or if I see an new doctor, he/she does not have any access to all the kidney or lung problems I have had in the past. I did save a 300 PDF of my portal before UT update the portal 2 or 3 years ago, but no one wants me to drag that out and thumb through page after page.
