Albert Heo, MD, is a dual-trained internal medicine and pediatrics doctor who sees both children and adults.

Heo graduated from medical school in 2018 at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and completed his residency program at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston in 2022.
He is fluent in English and Korean. In his spare time, Heo likes traveling, singing karaoke, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with his family.

Exceptional service from the provider and nursing staff. I was not given the same type service from the nursing staff from Dr. Abdelmelek. (Myra) (phone conversation) promised to call me back, but did not) The Dr on yesterday, nurse, lab, staff that checked me in.......all outstanding and professional!
None of us is perfect and I appreciate what UT Physicians has done for me. I really do. Nobody is perfect, but they try and they are good doctors.

Dr. Albert Heo is very nice but one of the biggest problems I have is that when UT Health updated their portal - May 2022? - a whole lot of my medical reports, labs, xrays, ct scans, and MRIs went missing, gone from the portal. Now that Dr. Garb is gone, my new primary doctor, and anyone else I see cannot check my history. Dr. Garb knew my history without having to see it in the portal. Since my history is gone my primary doctor, or anyone else I see acts like if they cannot see it in the portal - then it must not be true. As an example: I went to several rheumatologists at UT for over 4 to 6 years ago - but non of diagnoses is in the online portal anymore. So now my current primary does not have any confidence in what I am telling her the rheumatologist diagnosis 4 years ago. Or if I see an new doctor, he/she does not have any access to all the kidney or lung problems I have had in the past. I did save a 300 PDF of my portal before UT update the portal 2 or 3 years ago, but no one wants me to drag that out and thumb through page after page.

Our doctor was very nice and cordial. He did not seem to know any of my medical history, only the current situation. Seems new at his job and too busy to answer questions, seen from body language.
He goes over my entire medical record and he keeps up with all of my shots and makes sure I get everything and also listens very well to me and makes sure that I stay healthy, makes sure that I'm not taking anything that I should not take. He's overall a great doctor. He listens and advises, so I would say he's a great doctor.
