This was a one year checkup after having an aortic valve replacement. When the appointment was scheduled a year ago, an ultrasound was not scheduled in conjunction with this follow-up. As a result, we would have had to wait an additional 2 hrs (approx) on the day of the follow-up. This was not possible for us as we had commitments elsewhere. Dr Dhoble apologized for this error and graciously offered to let us get the ultrasound with our cardiologist, who is closer to home. It was an hour and a half drive for us to get to the Med Center. Otherwise, all staff was very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Dhoble greeted me with courtesy. His nurse greeted me with courtesy and told me everything I needed to do, as far as my blood pressure and all that. And I really appreciate it 'cause he's my wife's doctor also, and I really appreciate it of him.

Prior to seeing Dr Dhoble, the nurse said she needed to do a FRAGILITY TEST on me. Part of the test included answering written questions about my assessment of my specific strengths needs, and part of the testing also included the nurse's assessment of me during a timed walking test. I felt very uncomfortable being tested for "fragility" as this implies how "fragile" I am seen. It would be much more appropriate to assess a person's STRENGTHS or endurance rather than "frame " the test or evaluation in such a negative context. I hope this kind of testing in the future will use descriptive words that do not connote weakness in general. Thank you.

I like the fact that they took the time to understand the physical things that were going on with me and to then tailor the plan to the various health challenges that I was facing instead of just focusing, well, we'll just focus on the heart and ignore how our procedures might affect other things that you need to check out. It seemed like they actually were trying to cater to the whole person in such a way that it would be, they catered to the whole person such that when they worked on the heart, it would have the most, it would be the most effective in healing things as much as possible. Finished.

Your staff was very nice. They're very knowledgeable and they're very concerned about my medical needs. I really appreciate them for saving my life. I would "highly" recommend your medical team to family and friends. Also, your staff at the check-in counter were so, so nice and helpful.
