Dr. Brant Lipscomb is an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He currently serves as the Medical Director of the Ironman Sports Medicine Institute at The Woodlands.
Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Lipscomb specializes in Sports Medicine with an emphasis on ACL repairs and other knee injuries, as well as shoulder injuries. He is the team physician for The Woodlands High School.
Dr. Lipscomb is active in several professional organizations including the Arthroscopy Association of North America, Texas Society of Sports Medicine, and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine.

My daughter and our family were pleased that we consulted Dr. Lipscomb for my daughter's knee issues. Dr. Lipscomb ensured that he first had a good conversation with the patient and got to know her. Later, he diagnosed the main root problem and identified what needed to be done to improve it. When we met him, we understood that he knew his area of specialization.

After I consulted with the orthopedic doctor, it was unmistakable that he was a leading specialist in his field. Without hesitation, I booked my daughter's appointment with him on the same day.

I wish the doctor would've given me more time with him it felt like about five minutes. But when I did have another question the doctor did answer it for me before I left.
