Pain management is a critical part of UTHealth Houston Neurosciences’ overall program. Specialists in interventional pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation treat acute and chronic pain arising from trauma, nerve damage, degenerative conditions, cancer and systemic metabolic disorders such as diabetes. The multidisciplinary team works in close collaboration to provide a variety of interventions and strategies for pain self-management to help people regain control of their lives. Our team, made up of clinicians, researchers and educators, works continuously to transform and advance the field of neuroscience.
The UTHealth Houston Neurosciences-Headache and Pain Center is located on the 20th floor of the Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza (MHMP), suite 2010. The building – 6400 Fannin Street – is on the corner of Fannin and Cambridge streets, in Houston’s Texas Medical Center. The offices are easily accessible from Houston’s Loop 610 and highways 288 and 59.
Convenient self-parking is available in the Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza Garage, located in the same building as our clinics. Self-parking is accessible from the southern entrances of the garage off both Main Street and Fannin Street. Valet parking is also available. To utilize valet parking, turn right into the second entrance on Fannin Street. You can also enter the valet area from Main street, by turning at the Hermann Plaza Drive streetlight.
Parking is also available in the University of Texas Professional Building Garage adjacent to the Medical Plaza. Rates vary according to the garage; pay stations are conveniently located inside of the building, so that you may pay first before you leave.
Once you park, ride the elevator in the parking garage to the first floor lobby. Then, use the elevator bank that services floors 14-24.
Handicapped Parking is available in each Texas Medical Center garage.
The Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza Building is located at the North end of the Texas Medical Center. The parking garage is easy to get to from any direction with entrances from both Fannin and Main.
